I assume these are the only trains to work the Youngstown OH yard in the process, but how do these trains make the turn to get on the NKP to head east?

There is a connection at NP. The trains will pull into siding between NP and Sanborn on the NKP. Then run the locomotives around before heading east towards Buffalo. The same procedure but in reverse going from Buffalo to Conway.
