Late 70s/early 80s. Its seems at least three of the cars are converted MP75s with large windows.

Steve: This is no fan trip - Most likely pictured is diesel trains in service after one of the major snowstorms with the MU cars temporarily out of service...Why there were two consists on the Manhasset Viaduct is a question - this may have something to do with snowdepths along the PW Branch especially in cuts such as at Great Neck and Bayside...It would be interesting to see the ground below these pictured trains :wink:
