While the SD70ACe-T4 hasn't caught on too well. I do appreciate their "burly" look with their high long hoods. Is it me or do they look tough?

They do look burly. However, I wonder why they are called SD70ACe-T4. In the past, the numbers following SD would refer to the "generation". I would think a more accurate designation would be SD90-4 or more simply SD94 as the 1010J prime mover is a direct descendant of the 265H used in the SD90MAC series. The SD70 series is based on the 710G prime mover.
