Anyone know what's been upgraded by Progress Rail on the overhaul of the MARC units? -3 means new control system ... anything else? New HEP engine maybe?

MARC GP39H-3 v -2?

First time I heard of it. I thought Bombardier/Alstom was doing MARC repair work at the Riverside yard.
Progress is overhauling all 6 GP39s in Patterson, GA. 70, 71 & 75 are done already. The rest should be completed this year.
