Acquired late in 2021, ex-CN No. 3573 made its first run out of the Utica yard on Saturday afternoon, Feb 5th. They ran to Remsen and back.

The North American Railcar Operators Association (NARCOA) sponsored an excursion between Remsen-Tupper Lake Oct 1-2.

This video includes scenes of the activity from Oct 1st in Remsen and Big Moose (also featured is a quick glimpse of the Thendara-Beaver River train heading through a rock cut).

Does anyone know the current engine roster for the Adirondack Railroad? There have been purchases and selling of equipment lately. It appears they are going for an all ALCO roster. Thank you for any information.

Locomotives in current/ recent use:

RS-18 #1835
RS-18 #1845
C424 #2400
M420 #3573

On roster/ property, not currently in service:

SW-1 #705
S1 #9411
RS-3 8223 (not owned by the Adirondack)
RS-3 8255 (some folks from R&GV have been working on the prime mover recently)

F units 1502, 1508 and the FL9 have been sold but have not left the property, at least as of last weekend.
