RAILROAD MUSEUM OF NEW ENGLAND ANNOUNCES
WORKING ON THE RAILS PRESENTATION
RMNE to Feature Gary Gurski
THOMASTON, CT – April 16, 2019 – The Railroad Museum of New England’s Speaker Series continues later this month with a presentation by Gary Gurski, who worked for 22 years from 1970 to 1992 on the Penn Central, Conrail, and Providence and Worcester railroads. The event will be held at Thomaston Station, 242 East Main Street, Thomaston, on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 4:00PM. The presentation is free and open to the public.
According to RMNE President Steve Casey, Mr. Gurski will share his experiences with a slide show as brakeman, conductor, and engineer on the Hartford to Springfield Line, Canal Line from New Haven to Holyoke, Highland Line from Waterbury through Bristol to Plainville, and the Naugatuck Line from Derby through Waterbury to Torrington.
