Is there something amis around K interlock around WAS? I’m hearing there’s a 10mph speed limit all the way towards New Carrollton that’s causing all northbound trains to take a 5-10 minute hit on top of the new schedule for the trackwork around LANDOVER interlocking. It’s causing a mess even on the MARC trains.

Anyone know if there is any construction going on around the interlockings? The extended WASH US expansion plan noted one option was to build another complete ladder track set. That surely would not be started yet?

No new track work going on at WT. Only work being done is a new elevator being installed on 27/28 tracks.

Weird. They why the 10mph speed limit on K interlock all the way up to F tower? It doesn't make sense and even the Amtrak conductors on the MARC are scratching their heads about it. It's the third week of that since the new schedule, and it's making trains consistently late.
