Hello, I am hoping to get some help or advice, if possible. I worked for Union Pacific from 2013-2015. In August 2015 I was fired for an incident in the yard. I went to investigation in September 2015, and the company upheld the firing. My Union rep assures me that once my case goes before the board, I will be be re-hired, most likely with back pay. Anyone know how long it usually will take for my case to go before an arbitration board?

Most situations like this I'm familiar with it takes between 1-2 years. Most got their job back, not all got back pay. If the board finds in your favor you will be reinstated with your seniority intact.
