Nice detective work, Peter (pun intended?)

Below is a scan from a 1958 Orange County Highway map I have; the one constant over the years is the Webb Cemetery. Roads have been realigned several times in that area, even since this map. And the only reference I found on the Pine Island Branch Val Maps was 'Crossing Closed', with no date, at about that location. (Update- found the crossing closing date on another sheet; October 1940.)

There were a few Holberts in the Chester- Sugar Loaf area, but I don't think there any left. A few are listed in the Walden area in the current phone book- might be related.

I just found an Erie document of mine. I think we have the wrong station. This station list on the Pine Island Branch lists the following:

GOSHEN
BENNETT - Not sure why this is listed before Stewarts, considering its the Stewart Estate then Bennett.
STEWARTS - IN the map on the previous page the Sta. is next to a Stewart. This may be the station, not Station H. Stewarts is listed 1.5 miles from Goshen
STATION H - Station H is listed as 2.8 miles from the Goshen station. Maybe the Howell estate?
ORANGE FARM - Orange Farm is listed 3.9 miles from the Goshen Station.
FLORIDA
BIG ISLAND
MOUNT EVE
PINE ISLAND

I did get out to the area to get photos, but now I think its Stewarts I photographed, not Station H.
