Old Quarry on the Fitchburg Line?

On the Fitchburg Line, between Kendal Green and Brandeis, just beyond where the old Central Mass tracks cross the line, there appears to be an old quarry on the right, (with a spur leading into the fenced off area.) Does anyone know anything about the quarry and when it was functioning? Any plans for the future? Thanks for the help.

That was the Massachusetts Broken Stone Company. They were once a B&M customer but stopped shipping by rail at least 25 years ago, maybe longer.
