How many designs of AC locomotive (diesels only) exist for narrow gauge worldwide? I know of three: Japanese DF200 (introduced 1992), Bombardier/GE DE-AC33C "Blue Tiger" (introduced 1996), Clyde-EMD GT42CU-AC (introduced 1999).

Siemens have delivered to AC diesels to Vietnam.

Switzerland? I don't think so. All their mainlines are electrified; the only diesels seem to be switchers.

They have placed an order with one of the Chinese suppliers, Dalian works I believe. The new locomotives will have MTU engines and DC traction motors...

Are we talking current production or historic? The original citations imply current...
The Blue Tiger is definitely out of production, and I believe the GT42CU-AC is too. I'm talking ever.
