I was walking around the area of the M train elevated in Ridgewood and I noticed dual track abandoned rails underneath the private row. Were these abandoned trolley tracks or were these some sort of freight rail tracks? I can't find any information on this.

From what I have been able to find (so far) online there was a trolley line that operated under the elevated tracks of the now M line.

Trolley service ended in 1950.
