Earlier this week, I had the chance to ride one of the holiday trains along the green line. The cool part was I wasn't expecting to hop onto the train, nor did I know the schedule. But, it was an amazing sight. The outside of the train was decorated with lights outlining the windows and doors and holiday images and oversized garland.
The inside of the train had red and green overhead lighting, additional multi-colored lights, bows, and garland. The seats were redone and had holiday images. The vertical support poles were wrapped up as they resembled candy canes. The overhead area where ads are kept were replaced with holiday images and messages. Holiday music also played inside the train.
One of the cars was a flat car, resembling a sleigh that contained reindeer, trees, and Santa waving as passengers board and get off.
I thought this train was very well done and I took a few pictures and shot some video (off my camera phone).
