Did the Lackawanna have a cab signal system?

The Cab Signal System on the DL&W extended from Scranton Station to East Buffalo. It was a two-indication continuous inductive system, which displayed "Clear" or "Restricting" on the engine. Time-table special instruction 84 and Rules 540 e - m governed the operation.

Out of curiosity, were all road freight engines equipped, or did they change power at Scranton?
