#425 and #420 must have passed each other, Scot. I saw #420 southbound out of Avon before 3pm. Now that they have good track, chasing is a true thing, it's no doubt about it, chasing! #425 was northbound this morning and I have yet to see it go back through. Interested to see what kind of effort will be needed to take loaded cars up out of Avon with a single engine.

10/22/07 North into Avon before 9am. Extensive switching duties were performed in Avon including Barilla and Kraft before they were ready to head north. When I came back to the house before 11:30am they were in the yard waiting to head north. The MOW crew was working at the new set of lights and gates at the new Barilla crossing (to Rochester St.). It appeared they were waiting for clearance.

Nice catch. I got to railfan my way to the bus garage today. Noted the train went north out of Avon with 32 cars lead by #420 and #425 respectively.

I noted a NYSDOT truck waiting at the crossing at Main St. Avon and another state vehicle, a labeled dark blue blazer at Scottsville Rd. sitting there. After I stopped for the tracks, he took off. The LAL train was just entering Genesee Junction.
