Volunteering Over The Summer

I'm a year young to get a job (14) and with most of my friends working this summer, I was wondering are there any railroad museums, etc. within a half hour of Medford that I could volunteer at over the summer? Just wondering because i think doing something like that would be fun and enjoyable.

Chuck---I am trying to think what is available in your area. It is difficult at the age of 14 to work and even volunteer because of insurance reasons. Perhaps Bob Vogel (Chuchubob) has some ideas. I am not sure of any railroad museums in the area. Unless you want to count Winslow Junction and Rio Grande where the SRNJ and the CMSL have their old equipment--LOL--When I come up for the month of June, perhaps Mike DiMunno and I will find some places. We will be exploring most of the state for interesting railroad "stuff".
