The major locomotive builders and a few of the smaller ones demonstrated some of their new Tier 3 locomotives in Minneapolis this week:

Surprised the article didn't really mention the NRE 2GS36C-DE - it seems like a legitimate competitor in the mainline diesel range.

Otherwise, I wish I'd been able to attend the show, but the registration fee was rather too steep.
