Nick, to answer your signal question, dropping eastbound down to HUNTER int. if DOCK is pulled up at CLIFF the train will receive a red over flashing green which is 45 mph signal and referred to as a Limited clear indication. When DOCK is in the bag a train can receive any slow or medium speed signal in the book. Westbound at HUNTER if the Conrail North Jersey dispatcher is pulled up at CP-NK a red over flashing green Limited clear with a illuminated white directional arrow will display at HUNTER. The directional arrow was installed as a back up to prevent DOCK pulling up straight and sending a Raritan line train down to Trenton. If the engineer does not see the illuminated white directional arrow he is to stop and call DOCK and inquire if the train is properly routed to the Raritan line. If the CR dispatcher is not pulled up at CP-NK slow signals will result and slow trip west up the ramp. The speed on the Lehigh Line connection is 45 mph for Amtrak no.6 and 30 mph for Amtrak no.7 if the signal indications allow MAS.

Thanks Zeke. Heading east with "DOCK in the bag," that's quite a lot of signal combinations; by my count:

Restricting (granted, not a speed indication per se)
Slow Approach
Slow Clear
Medium Approach
Medium Approach Medium
Medium Clear
