Are there any physical parking brakes on any of the current PA revenue fleet?

Yes. On the older PA-1-4 fleet, I believe they are at one of the ends of the car. I think on the B end.

I doubt they changed it on the new PA-5 series.

Ok, because the other day at hoboken i heard that cranking sound, similar to what they do up above for nj transit trains. How often do they use the parking brake? Been riding PATH for a loooong time this is the first i've heard it being applied.
