Why isn't there a transfer between the Queensboro Plaza N/W/7 and the Queens Plaza E/R/G?

the two stations are not near each other. building a tranfer would require a three block conecting passageway.

I am not sure why NYC Transit never built a hub to connect the stations, but until recently, the area was primarily industrial. They would need some community pressure to take on a project like that. In fact, Queensboro Plaza doesn't even have an elevator for the disabled. I am an employee, and I had to tell a guy in a wheelchair to ride back to Lex and take the R to Queens Plaza. If you ever need to go from the 7 to the E/V/G, a free transfer is available between Court House Square and 23rd-Ely.

Probably a good place for a Metro-Card transfer. Like the Seven and IND transfer at Courthouse Square and 23rd/Ely or the F and Six at 63rd/Lex in Manhattan
