Vintage holiday train - 12/2

Just got back from Today's (12/23) excursion. Nice break from the Christmas madhouse rush.

Forgot how loud the old cars were. The run under the East River was a feast for the eyes, ears and nose. (Those old heaters under the seats really made things warm)

I read someplace where the MTA got some flak for running this train (and running the vintage stuff in general)

Anyone got an Email address where we could drop the MTA powers that be a note of "thanks" and perhaps give them some positive PR feedback so that these trips continue?

I was there today as well. Awesome runs, just like the past three weeks.

I made the schlep up to the City yesterday just to ride the vintage trains. What a treat! I still can't get over how the conductors operated the trains from between the cars!

I rode it again on Sunday. It's a great experience, except for the forlorn professional videographer who left his bag of 33 fully charged batteries at home.
