Why don't these trains (especially the newest ones) have something like a "black box" that you find in aircraft where everything that goes wrong gets recorded. This way, when an accident or malfunction occurs you can access the box and find out exactly what happened.
Its absurd that Metro still doesn't know what caused the separation back in January with the 3000 series cars. Seems Metro doesn't know their own rolling stock from a hole in the wall.
