AJ (and Everyone:)

The MTA posted this news about the introduction of the Atlantic Ticket test program on June 15:
http://www.mta.info/news/2018/06/15/lir ... -officials" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

There is a consortium of City of New York based politicians and ridership groups such as the NYC
Transit Riders Council that fought for and eventually got the MTA to agree to the Atlantic Ticket
test program. More then likely City and not MTA funding is subsidizing the Atlantic Ticket.

If you are against the Atlantic Ticket program those noted (in the posted report) politicians and
ridership groups should be contacted directly with your concerns...MACTRAXX

I was under impression the MTA was funding it. It is a trial so we will see what happens.

Atlantic Terminal will have a seperate platform to Jamaica evenually and the tunnel project for the 2,3 Clark Street tunnel is finally approaching completion so that it will be in better shape, fortified from storms, and up on the weekends which can be used at Atlantic Terminal.
