Pan Am Railways General Manager Luke McCaul departs to become General Manager of Transdev's Cincinnati Bell Connector street car operations. Given his membership in Boston Street Railway Historical Society and the New England Electric Railway Historical Society, perhaps this is his true career aspiration?

Luke made his way from being the General Supt. to General Manager for the enter Springfield Terminal. After that he became the General Manager of Operations for the System.

Pan Am plays title games. Luke's position was no more than a Superintendent on a class 1, but at least GM makes it look good on paper. But he knows his stuff and will definitely be missed. That kind of departure has to be a reality check for Pan Am senior management.
