Good wreck ON the east end bridge at dfld this morning / last night. 7 cars, including 3 loaded LPG. Word is they are broken thru the decking and leaning out over the river.

Good Lord. Heck of a way to end the year. Any more details on this? Have the media picked this up yet?

Probably not. Only one or two houses back there so unless you're looking for it no one will see it unless it really becomes a problem.

It's time they bite the bullet and rebuild the yard and runners as senior transportation officials have been pushing for. The amount of derailment in or on the approaches to Deerfield this year have been astronomical.

Of course, if anyone in the area DOES get wind of this, there's going to be outrage about why they weren't notified, especially with LPG loads involved.
