Any word out there on trains that are running with foreign power on CSX's New York-Chicago mainline?

Also, keep your eyes on the New York State forum on this site........when something different and special runs,
often times someone will post it on there as well. Not sure about tonight, though.

UP and BNSF power is fairly common on the run-through trains..several trains a day will have some foreign power.
One train in particular, "the salad express" is often seen with a full UP consist..every day to Schenectady and back.

Actually it looks like "produce express" is the more common name, not salad express.

I see this train often through Rochester, almost always with solid UP power.

Thank you Charlie, and thank you Scot! I have seen the Q090/091, and the UP run through power on trains like the K682, K252, and K256 etc. Really what it is; is that, I'm having a hard time gettin' over the fact that I missed two SOO engines, on the same day, leading trains through my "neck of the woods" and I missed them both by a matter of minutes! Oh well. By the way.......the K682 came through Memphis, NY at around 17:00 hours this evening with 3 UP units on it, and they were instructed to take the Belle Isle siding at CP296. I don't know if the power will stay with the train, or be ordered somewhere else; but it's typical to see an eastbound ethanol train sit on that siding for a day or two before it moves again. Sometimes the power stays with the train, and sometimes it does'nt. I have photos but they're not good. If requested, I'll let you know what the locomotive numbers are.

Ethanol trains can run alot of different scemes and Locos. CP, UP, BNSF, ICE, DME, and there's recently been an influx of rent a wreck SD40s running around.

FYI.....The lead unit on the K682 at the Belle Isle siding is UP6792, the third is UP6448, my photos were so lousy that I can't determine what the number of the second unit is.

or "E-coli express".... I got that from a friend who's a train crew... and yes, that what I'm calling it...

I see that come EB through Bergen NY around 2am a lot... I can always tell too because a) the UP horn sounds different from any of the CSX or Amtrak horns I've heard blow through and b) they always seem to blow longer than any other train coming through on the mainline.
