The 507 and 512 sale goes back to about 1993, I forget where I first saw that information but I've been aware of it for quite some time, it was one of the earliest sell-offs of these units.

It might be worth the time to note the status of the two sold to the Wimpey Minerals quarry, also. I believe that outfit has been bought/taken over and changed names since they picked up their pair of LV U23Bs.

There's only one confirmed DOA, the unit the Reading & Northern wrecked, right?

502 - operating in 2006, Camden, NJ yard as WIMX 2778
503 - operating in 2006, Tarmac Aggregates of Annapolis Jnct., MD
504 - wrecked/scrapped by R&N, 1997
505 - Texas Utilities, status unknown.
506 - Texas Utilities, status unknown.
507 - Texas Utilities, status unknown.
508 - operating in 2003, Whitestone Supply, Alliance Ohio.
509 - operating in 2004, Pennsy Supply, Anneville, PA.
510 - still exists in 2007, but in danger of being scrapped. Anneville, PA
511 - bad shape in Pittston, PA..this is likely the engine going to Sayre.
512 - operating in 2004, Blacklands RR, Sulpher Springs TX.
