Gentlemen,
On my way home on the Raritan River Line I noticed that NJ transit is fixing and replacing ties and track work adjacent to the Cranford station.
This track used to be part of the CNJ freight main line.
Track and ties are being replaced all the way as far as the interchange at CP Alden and underneath the bridge where NS and Transit split.
Does anyone know what is going on. Is there a new revival to the old CNJ. Is there a new customer that is now planning to receive or ship goods via Rail.
Thank you
