Do you know the class S160?

It´s a 2-8-0 steam loco which was deployed in WW II in Europe by US Army Transportation Corps.

Have you got more data about S160?

Okay, old thread, don't know if anyone's still looking...

Yes, the S160 was used in the US. The Alaska Railroad and a couple shortlines had them. Beyond Europe, they made it to India and China, among other places. I believe the last in use was withdrawn in China in the mid-90s.
