Hey guys, Im definately not a hard to get along with person. Im young so I tend to be a hothead but I am a railroader and a railbuff and whenever I do see buffs out on the train I do take time to talk and answer questions. Im didnt mean to go off on the deep end with the previous post. It was a rough day at work and sometimes I bring work home with me. Take Care guys and ask away.

About 50 conductors and 50 engineers are left from the CON/PRR/RDG railroads. Obviously, they constitute the top 50 on each roster for SEPTA.

How often do you guys hire for engineers? Do you give preference to guys with Class I licenses already or do you have to work your way up from trainman/conductor?
