No, a trestle on the Freehold Secondary in Jamesburg I'm not sure what exact trestle it is.

THAT trestle? Didn’t hear anything about that. There’s two more mentioned in the grant that haven’t been fixed yet

There is a lot to unpack here.

WPSA33 was abolished when Home Depot left Dayton, which IIRC was 2007 or 2008? The customers that remained didn't require 5 day a week service. I don't recall the 33 doing any work other than Dayton, regularly ever. SA31 had been the Hightstown, Freehold, Southern crew since 04 or 05.
Home Depot left in early 2014 when they moved into Edison, and SA33 was canned in 2017. Definitely a shame how much is gone around there.

What a twist of events. The Freehold to Farmingdale section of track will be used to... get cars for Freehold from Red Bank for a period of time???

As for this trestle, if this trestle is on the Freehold Industrial Track by the wye, does that not mean that cars for the FIT will have to come by Red Bank for the foreseeable future?

Perhaps this is something I will have to investigate further next week. The only thing this could be is one of the small bridges just south of Jamesburg or that one bridge that’s over the road on the north end of town.

The good thing is, if SA-31 has to drop 20+ car long trains at a time, Red Bank is definitely a better yard to do that than try to fit it all on the wye in Jamesburg

Maybe, but 17 cars left on the main between the interlocking and the south end of the yard is already a tight squeeze. Any more and there might not be room for SA31 to get out unless they work something out with NJT to use one more track in there for overflow. Can’t use two tracks cause SA31 needs at least one track to get out, and another track needs to be clear for parking engines and equipment.

Judging from aerial view of Red Bank yard on Google maps, it appears that NJT already stores their equipment on the same tracks that freight cars for SA-31/RB-1 are stored on. There is also a fourth track in the yard that could be used, but it is very obviously separate from the other three tracks in the yard, so I assume its somewhat important for NJT to keep free.

Also, keep in mind, that behind Red Bank Recycling, the main is double-tracked for a short while, that could also be used as an "overflow"

You can’t leave cars on that second track because that is how RB 1 Gets into the yard and parks and it’s also how SA31 gets out of red Bank after dropping the loads.

Yes and yes. There'd be no other way to get Jburg to freehold while several projects are being done. Freehold cars would come in through bank. Why'd you think we did the Freehold-Farmingdale before this other work? It wouldn't be longer trains going to bank. More frequency in runs on NJT, yes. If '31 can't do the move for other work, an extra'll be used.

Why was it reported on the C&D topic that they are running?
