I didn't get real close, and the rear number boards were missing, so I don't know the number. It was still in MEC Harvest Gold, albeit a tad faded.

MEC 259 was shipped 5/10/06 to Brookville.

MEC 254 is the other one that will eventually head to Brookville.

Are we sure that 254 was sold and will head to Brookville ? or will it meet the same fate as 322 ?

I am pretty sure that the 254 will be heading to Brookville Equipment Co.
When this transaction first came to light, all three units were "listed".
The 259 went out with BMEX reporting marks. Very surprised the 322 left
next, being the worst of the bunch.

I expect these unit will turn up rebuilt as part of that Metro-North
switcher order Brookville won earlier this year
