With 1855 in, I'm sure one of the 3 will go soon as well

1702 will prob be next since it hasn’t been active down south in a little while.

We have calculated 1709 to be the next one to go up.

1702 is currently a spare

1702 is assigned north for when it returns to service which is why I said that. Eventually, all of the k cars will be north for now. We will see what cycles where as time rolls on.

FYI 1702 is no longer a spare and is up north like I’ve indicated. FYI, the only one that I see down south is 1711. 1705 and 1709 are most likely spares and will head north when they return. Should be getting more new rotems to come into service soon.

1709 is north. It's on a revenue train (or well, was 30 mins ago)

Yeah I realized that the next day after I typed it that 1709 made its way up north. I wouldn’t be surprized if 1705 went back after typing this. Thus making 1711 the only k car that is leading south at the moment. Doesn’t mean that they are done down south, it just means that they are giving the new rotems a chance to operate while slowly phasing out the remaining 1600’s. I also do realize that 1700, 1701, 1703, and 1719 are spares for now and some maybe going in for repairs. This is my observation and all that I know as of right now.

1701 is still dead, getting repaired.

Equipment commonality, like CRail said. It has been noted by him that the Rotems have Fast Brakes and the K-Cars do not. K-Cars have the usual old 26C stand, the Northside “standard”. They are also just plain older, and that's the trend for the Northside.

1705 is now tracking north side. 1711 is the last down south. Like mentioned before, 1700s won't exclusively be north, some may go back south occasionally, but they will primarily operate north side.

Hopefully that's the plan. That would be nice for you guys to get some new rotems

You can have your sucky new rotems. We'll take any 1800-1827, thank you.

Lol. It seems we both don't want them lol. Get rid of them while ya can.

Didn't want to make a new thread and figured this was good enough - anybody know what the deal with 1721 is? I feel like it's been gone for too long now.

Same situation as 1827 was. At Delaware car for repairs. We all know how long it takes them to get their stuff done.
