96 loaded wells WB last night, had to be close to 200 total containers.

907 had 49 domestic containers— which looks to be a new one time record. Also a good bit of Hapags mixed in. We’re definitely closing in on a few dedicated trains a week if things keep going like this.

The service seems more regular this year

Anybody know when the port expansion will permit 2 ships to be worked at once? Yesterday Genoa express was doing laps in the bay of fundy while a msc ship occupied the container berth. Genoa express in dock now

I believe late 2023 or early 2024 is the estimate for full project completion.

Q4’2022 they’ll have the intermodal yard completed and the berth to be operational by Q1’2023. They have capacity for one more Transatlantic service which is what will be announced shortly. Look for more daily trains

41 loaded wells WB last night.

Why is there such an imbalance of empty wells heading EB? Are these containers not going back to SJ once emptied? Can't imagine that it's very profitable running that type of operation.
