1058 is the next one coming home. Currently we have 1025, 6, 1069 in testing. Does anyone know where each unit is at in the rebuilding process in the shops? Not aware of any units getting ready to be shipped west.
1025 is currently at Readville yard having work preformed on it. It has had a few issues they are still trying to fix before it goes onto a set for testing.
Try 2: MBTA 1074 was picked up from G&U yesterday after going back again for warranty repairs. It is being washed today at BET before to goes west on a lite engine move to Worcester for an event.
Well that’s going to make it 4 that’s in testing. I did hear that 1025 was getting fixed, but to me, it’s still in testing since it hasn’t been accepted to revenue service yet. When they get accepted, I consider them to not be in testing.
Has anyone seen if 1058 made it to middleboro/Rochester? This makes it the 4th consecutive unit to return since 1025-6-69 did. Also, does anyone follow closely where each unit currently is in the rebuild shops? I know they get sent out to holidaysburg pa to get body work done. Just curious on the rest of the process of being rebuilt.
The 1058 has been delivered at Middleboro this morning.
The 1025 was undergoing cab signal testing today on the NEC/Stoughton Branch.
The 1062 was out on the test track at Erie. Still has not been released.
The 010 & 011 are both in the shop at Erie last I knew.
I betcha those will also be in the hsp paint scheme like the f40’s are. They are all going to be in that boring scheme. Anyone aware of any units to be shipped west?
