Crazy Eights is apparently going to be rebuilt into an SD40-3 once that program resumes

AC60CW 623 and HLCX 8148 pulling VERY LONG trash train east thru langhorne pa just now.

623 was definitely bringing the thunder!!!!

I'm not sure about that but I can confirm the locomotive still exists. I see it just about every day during my car commutes.

I wonder if CSX would consider donating 8888 to a museum if they decide not to resume the SD40-3 rebuild program.

The CSX OCS is currently in Selkirk, NY, and will make its way down to Richmond, VA tomorrow and Friday via Philadelphia and Baltimore.
