CSX locomotive locations

after looking through some of the posts here on the forum, i started this topic to help save space. If you want to know where a locomotive is in the country, just post it here and hopefully fellow railfan's can help you out. Take care

Where's the CSX F40's? I'm hoping they come to Chicago soon..

Wheres CSX 8815? I havent seen that unit for months.

CSXT 8815 is still on the active roster.

Right I am just wondering of its where abouts, Becuase it was in NJ for like 4 months doing the same run every week. Then the engines switched.

Where is CSX 7646?

The CSX F40PH's just came through Philadelphia.

As of 9-24-07 CSXT 4617 was in Erie, Pennsylvania.

5408/7775/7768 on manifest heading North/East (depending on how the line runs

631/21 on coal drag heading South/West

5678/8571 on manifest heading North/East

Following units either idle, or on yard duty

8785/5900/8557 are patrolling the Hanover Sub, I saw them this morning heading thru New Oxford to Hagerstown Friday morning around 930 am.

5900 (B36-7) is a real beauty, and a rare sight for this sub, along with 8785 (SD60M), as this line is usually run with 2-3 SD-50s or an SD50 with a slug set in tow.
