4701, SD70MAC spotted at kearney intermodal yard. 10 minutes ago. 3318, 3319 genset switchers hooked together working the yard, a few geeps here and there.

F40 #9998 on a powermove westbound approaching Big Sandy Jct on 1, Kanawha side, waiting for an empty coal WB on 2 moving to 3 so they can get the green and head into Russell.

Wow! What kinda stuff does that unit do anyways, just local help or?

CSXT 4617, one of the last few pure SD40's + the last C&O paint-holder, was eastbound on W064-16 on the Kanawha, stopped at KV Interchange as of Tuesday night. She's gone now, but she's heading in that general direction.

4599 and 676 together in a consist in Boston yesterday. rare to catch these on the road now and together. 11000 HP right there

kerney yard, the genset pair were there too. I saw another cool one but its road number was totally obscured by other units, it had an older "tall" exhaust stack and had the original csx paint scheme.

I would like updates on CSX 8577, an SD50 with a gorgeous sounding Leslie RS-5T airhorn. It hung around Columbus, OH earlier this month after coming down from Willard on Q-635. Is it still in Columbus or has it moved on?

Caught H779-09 westbound going to Russell with a huge assortment of power. Saw half of it sitting on the river lead when I went by today.

8418 in yn1 was on the coke express in pittsburgh

Update: CSX B749 was hauling a recrewed Q701 the other day with GP38s #8844 and #8842 and as I said before CSX Genset #1305.

A little bitty 1300 series switcher was on the bayonne branch (official name?) today. I think it was 1319, but i just cannot remember. If someone could show me photo examples i could probably pick it out of a lineup.
