As per 2 Facebook groups #300 was reported by Fayetteville, NC last night at 9:40 PM on CSX Q438-25, it is the third loco on the train.

Info for those that might be on the River Line on Easter (3/27).

- Q438-25 scheduled to depart North Bergen at 07:50 with NYA 300.

- Q410-25 scheduled to depart North Bergen at 08:12 with NYA 301.

Both NYA units will link up in Selkirk and be inspected for the Hudson Line for the move to Long Island.

Lets hope they don't get misrouted at Selkirk.

Plows already seem to be cut so that might speed things up.

Somehow Q410 got ahead of Q438 by over an hour :P

If anybody knows.... Will these engines be confined to the city tracks or can they operate out on LIRR tracks?
  by gregorygrice

These are replacing the Gp38-2s and will be NYAR's main locomotives. Of course they will be able to go anywhere.

So they are setup for Cab signals and ASC to run on LIRR trackage.

Thats what I was wondering......

Well they look like road engines, so I doubt they got them to switch Pond.

If they can't lead to the island yet, they'll follow. I'd expect to see them wherever work for the day requires... the trash moves I've seen around queens & brooklyn lately often rate either 3 smaller locos or a combo of 38s/mp15s

Nya 300 and nya 301 are currently in Selkirk. They are planned for q70129. They have the third rail clearance stripe painted on the plows. I believe that middle flared area is where the dynamic brake grids are located.
