If any of you have ever read posts on Train-Sim.com, some people on there are very cruel. So, please don't get down on something someone takes the time to do or make. Not saying anyone here is doing that, but I will not put up with it or let it happen. Joe, your help is great, anything that will get the model out to the masses! All I can do in TrainSim is some fooling with the files and mainly just running the trains, And most of all, waiting for the LIRR route!

Joe hooked me up w/ the Port Jeff; man is it beautiful! This is the kind of thing I've been waiting years for. It looks especially nice w/ an H16-44

BTW, Mike, your copy of it is on the way; I'm gonna send the original, since making it run long-hood forward is going nowhere fast.

Got it and it's real nice! Only thing I changed was the cab, I used the "TM.cvf" which is only a few kbs and looks like the real thing.

some people on train-sim.com take the game to heart to deeply
and dont realis that not every one can make the exat model and that an exat prototype for every road then multipals take up a load of PC space
(gota love that aliasing) i have a seperate hard drive exclusivly for MSTS only. this way it dont crap out my pc

are my worlds fair cars 100% accurate right down to the undercarage. hell no they arent. but they are just a repinsetation of the MP75s using existing equpt (improvising and using what you got) now is some one out there makes a real MP75 ans ACMU like they made the Budds. the please come forward and makem.?

but untill then enjoy what u got and to summ it up in english
IF U DON'T LIKE IT U "DON'T" HAVE TO DOWNLOAD IT

It is sad what goes on over there and yes it's only a game! If I don't like something, I just don't download it, it's that simple. Hang in there, Joe. Don't let the morons get to you.

Alright. Enough already. Let it drop. Not worth the effort to type it.

This might be somewhat off the topic, but close enough. I have a HO scale model of a Baldwin LIRR switcher. Nice job by the way on it. I don't have the patience to add all of the details and finish it off anymore. I would like to know if there is someone out there, mainly on Long Island (sorry, I don't want to ship it anywhere and run into problems) who would be willing to finish for me. Yes, I will pay a fee but come on it's me :-D Just kidding. Contact me off list. Thanks.

Can somebody post some pictures of the PJ line and other LIRR related additions to MSTS?

Doc,

If you want pictures of the LIRR stock, go to Train-sim.com and sign up for the service (FREE) and do a search of LIRR and everything that's there will be listed. And if you want you can download it all. Good luck though getting on the site, there is a huge route being downloaded by many people, me included today. So you'll have to wait to get on.

In today's download file section at TrainSim is a model of the Long Island Rail Road Fairbanks Morse C-Liner CPA20-5 #2005. I'll download it later, looks nice though.

Awesome, I can't wait to get home and download it myself. Whoever did it deserves a lot of credit; I attempted to re-paint one but the texture mapping was horrible! It would have taken days to figure out how to work around it.

Well, I fibbed - I'm downloading it now! Big file almost 9mbs.
