The 2013 & 2020 have been the latest units on the test trains.

718-730-748 were picked up by PAR LA-10-21 Saturday afternoon and went north to
Lowell in a 35 car, 3 unit train. The trio is now showing departed Ayer today.

Nothing showing out of the plant in Hornell..

I havent seen cab #1706 in a very long time, is that one of the next cars to go out?

Don't know, but its been out of service since early March.

Passed by the BET on both the Fitchburg and Lowell lines today and didnt see 1705 and the other rebuilds, were they testing? Also, I saw 1711, 1721 and other Kawasaki cars on the tracks next to the BET close to the Lowell Line bridge, does this mean anything?

The rebuilt K Cars have spent a lot of time on PM-2 inside BET. As for the cars on the Valley Track as you mentioned, I would guess that they will be next to head out for overhaul.

I just saw 1705D at south station. It looks like a rebuilt k-car with updated electronics. Does the D imply a rebuild?

The D denotes automatic doors.

Just saw 1705 on the Kingston line. Here is photo of 1705

To answer my own question, according to http://www.transithistory.org/roster/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; it is one of the refurbished cars. Looks sharp.

They didnt put a new horn on 1705, it has the EXACT same horn it had before rebuilding

drop them in Worcester and add them to P582, P506 and P508! all of those trains need more capacity!

(I understand they can't do that - they need to go somewhere to get put back in service...)
