Very little traffic on the Rail Trail on a rainy, cold Saturday.
The latest addition to our museum displays is a shelf of antique bottles. These bottles were found under the floor of the Depot and date from the 1920's and 1930's when the Depot was a speakeasy during prohibition days. The NEHI soda bottle was patented in 1924 and is called "Silk Stocking Bottle". The Depot was the hottest place in Hopewell during prohibition. Stop and buy a train ticket and get a drink while you are there. The "secret" room downstairs is now our woodworking shop.
