This is the seashore(boston) connection thread, but to answer that question my belief is that since TT's start around 4:30am, they leave the poles up to keep the air built up and not waste time in the morning. I could be wrong.

This past weekend an artist from Nashua, NH was painting Boston PCC 3340 at the museum. A tourist already wants to buy it. I don't know how to contact this artist. Very nice painting. I told him he should paint more Boston cars and sell them down here at shows. He told me next will be the ex-MBTA Hood Divco money/milk truck.
