Train stopped between Old Tavern Rd and Maxim Southard Rd.

@JohnFromJersey I will try to get some pictures and upload them. Not much memory left on my phone but it’s worth a shot. The graffiti is very funny. If it was 2001 I could call it The Lakewood Experience!

Tankers post on the wire being raised was correct. Plenty of space underneath for the train now, and they turning around at Cross Street.

Jitney van showed up at Cross Street but then left. I guess he’s going to Woodhaven.

Didn’t see an SA38 inside.

I've been receiving HOT packets and the occasional EOT packet for approximately an hour.

I’m at Howell Ice Arena and I can hear the horn to the south in the distance.

I'm at Collingwood flea market and I see the train coming towards 34.

Wait, they didn’t get past Collingswood until today????

Correct; crew left Lakewood about 11:00am. Reports of a return yesterday were not accurate.

Sound carries further in the cold. Anyone who heard a train Saturday was probably hearing either the FIT, NJT (sometimes it is possible to faintly hear a horn from the Coastline), or someone has a train horn installed on their lifted truck.

That or the train decided to stop in Howell sometime overnight.
