Is this a ramp to facilitate access (like Westbrook Station) or a full length platform?

Otto,

Not a full length platform. It will allow handicap access to the flat cars, but also access to the ESRM's baggage cars once the ESRM's siding is moved closer to the existing tracks. It will also be the route to cross over to the other side of the tracks where the ESRM's miniature train ride has been built.

Phoenicia

George Peck will be working to continue to eliminate super elevation from the curve in front of the station in Phoenicia (so the high platform can be built this summer). The crews will meet at 9am at the station in Phoenicia. If this project is finished by lunchtime, the worktrain will move to jack and tamp the MP 23.3 area.

Anyone who would like to cut brush should focus on the campground curve area at MP 26.4, eliminating the locust trees between the tracks and SR 28.

The 702 crew plan to start work on the 702 about 10am.
