2007 Livonia, Avon & Lakeville RR Movements

7/18/07 before 5pm, 58 cars following LAL's #425 and #420 southbound.

425\420\550 tied up at the Avon yard sometime Thurs. Pm.
Not really a good day for pictures though!
Dont know how long they will be there!

7/20/07 Southbound from Avon shortly after 10am, after switching in Avon.

Northbound into Avon, NY Saturday before 12:30pm, #420 and #425 and more than 22 cars. Stopped to move/switch cars in Avon.

LA&L 425 and 420, Southbound into Avon this evening with about 20 cars. The crew swtiched Kraft and then went quiet for the night.

There is another unique Alco in the neighborhood.

7/30/07 Northbound into Avon around 8:30 pm, #420 and 425 with a fairly large train, unknown count. Did switching at Kraft, maybe other Avon stops and moved on.

8/1/07 LA&L was switching and B790 droping cars off at GJ

8/8/07 Traffic through Avon village at around 8 PM. Not sure about direction or any switching.
Rail replacement up past East River Rd.

8/13/07 - Northbound with 420 & 425 at Industry, NY ~ 10:00pm.

8/20/07 The LAL Nocturnal Northbound is arriving into Avon just before 8:45pm Engines are 420 and 425 and unknown count of cars. Switched out Kraft leaving 4 tankers.

8/23/07 ariound 9pm LAL rolled into town and did some local switching before heading north. Heard them on the southbound, didn't know what time it was, couldn't see the clock, my eyes were shut. Unknown engines or car count. Bad report on my part!

8/28/07 North into Avon before 9pm, #420 and #425 switching Local customers and has northbound train from Lakeville standing on the Main south of the Industrial track switch. Unknown car count.

To sound like an idiot, which Industrial track switch? One to Kraft? or the one to Barilla plant or the one further north which leads southbound to the station or (i know you don't mean this one) the one Luther had referred to as the out of service Industrial area in Henrietta?

If you don't ask you'll never know. The track to Kraft is known as the Avon Industrial as was supplied by an informed source and is about 6/10ths mile long.
