A train delay at Mott Ave.

Any one know what happened last evening at Mott Ave? The train arriving at 4:55PM went into emergency brake just outside of the double crossover. The train restarted and went about 3 feet and emergency again. We sat there for 50 min until we were backed up about 150 ft and then went forward. The announcement was that there was a track switch problem, but would that put it into emergency? I think we ran a red but its just speculation.

If the interlocking system failed for some reason, the arm would have risen and tripped a car further back on the train.
