J: The high-level platforms at Chelten Avenue and Chestnut Hill West stations date from the PRR era and were
built long before SEPTA took over RRD service in 1983...These were the only "legacy" high-level platform stations on PRR
lines that are still in use...The Ivy Ridge (PC side) Station had a single high-level platform that was built in the late 70s
and has since been removed and the one other significant PRR era high-level platform station - the two platform
(two outside tracks and a center track) Norristown station was demolished to make way for the construction of the
NTC in the 80s...Suburban, 30th, North Philadelphia and Trenton were PRR's main high-level platform stations...
