Hi, I was wondering how would i get to Mountain Creek in NJ From NYC?
I was thinking about taking the LIRR, but I'm not sure where would i need to stop or if the LIRR would even take me to anywhere close to Mountain Creek.
All suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

btw my friends and I want to go to Mountain Creek on a Thursday, so are there going to be any transits available on weekdays? because on the site it says weekends and holidays.

If you plan on taking public transit all the way, I suggest getting a tailored itinerary using Google Transit (just change your home location from my town to yours and you'll be all set (you didn't specify where you were coming from).

That bus Mr. Ken mentioned stops only at Port Authority Bus Terminal, Wayne-Route 23 Transit Center and Mountain Creek, so perhaps if you live in the vicinity of Wayne you might consider driving/taking another bus to meet the PABT-Wayne-Mountain Creek "express" bus at Wayne instead of going all the way into PABT.

Hopefully this helps.
(NB: this bus service only runs on weekends and holidays, so be advised)

Honestly? Drive it. It's really simple:

I-80 to exit 53
Rt 23 north.
Follow the signs around Stockholm.

Be forewarned - it's not Vermont by any stretch of the imagination...
