Not having ridden in the front end of a PATH train in a month or so, I didn't notice them yet. I always remember Harrison only being able to acocmodate 7 cars since the trains pull all the way to the end of the platform.

New cars (PA-5) have begun daily testing in tunnels. 8 test cars will make stopping at correct location quicker for Engineers { 7 years } stopping at 7 car marker. Harrison station has always platformed 8 cars for passenger service since standard Newark to WTC service prior to Sept. 11th was 8 car consist.

kinda agreeing with both of you on this one.

yes they do pull to the end of the platform, but in harrison, I forget on which side, the 8 and 7 car markers are like right next to each other
